What will you be doing?
Acting as a conduit between a syndicate of lenders and the Borrower, disseminating information and coordinating amendment, waiver and consent requests
Managing a portfolio of facilities on a day to day basis within agreed terms and conditions with particular attention to detail
Liaising with lawyers and other professional advisers (technical/ insurance) including negotiation of amendment documentation
Liaising closely with Loan Services in respect of new facility on-boarding, amendments, drawdowns and fees
Reviewing term sheets and outline facility structures to ensure new proposed transaction meet the Firms agency criteria
Providing fee quotes for new agency roles
Reviewing, negotiating and approving loan documentation from an agency perspective
What we're looking for:
Working experience in the loan market, particularly with LMA documentation
Ability to prioritise and work calmly using own initiative, frequently to tight deadlines, with a busy portfolio
Ability to establish effective working relationship with senior management/board level, with external legal advisers up to partner level and internally
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
Skills that will help you in the role:
Excellent business skills, including the ability to deliver solutions with commercial awareness
Understanding of operational/ funding considerations
Experience of providing detailed instructions to lawyers and other professionals
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including a very good working knowledge of Excel
