AD / Director - Up and coming Asset Manager - Retail focus

Our client is an up-and-coming entrepreneurial Real Estate fund ($3bn under management who are looking to add an Associate Director or Director into their Asset management team focusing in the retail sector.

The team has been working on very interesting deals within the Retail sector including Shopping Centres, Supermarkets, logistics etc. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and who wants to grow with a business taking on lots of responsibility, including management and Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work within the Retail team (managing two)
• Reporting directly to MD
• Managing the Day to day (via Staff) and pushing out the Strategy across 80 Assets
• Assist with acquisitions including deal underwriting and Due Diligence
• Help grow new business opportunities

Candidate requirements:

• 5-8 years Real Estate asset management experience within Retail Sector (Or at least 2 years recently in the space with 6 years plus in other AM sectors/roles)
• Must be able to handle multiple transactions and an understanding/experience in refurbishment and development would be useful.
• Strategy and AM management of Large Value asset.
• Creative and be able to add value by considering alternative uses and layouts to add value over the longer term.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be a self-starter
