As the Admissions Recruitment Coordinator, you will:
Develop and implement recruitment strategy to increase undergraduate student enrollment in the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communication (ALEC).
Present degree requirements, student involvement opportunities, scholarships, and internship/career opportunities to prospective students and their families for majors in ALEC.
Represent the ALEC Department at on- and off-campus events including high school visits, college fairs, College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) events, and other external events.
Provide high quality academic advice and counseling regarding coursework and career pathway opportunities for students in the undergraduate ALEC degree programs.
Participate in activities to foster recruiting and retention of students in ALEC and the college.
Provide statewide leadership and coordination for the World Food Prize Nebraska Youth Institutes.
This position requires occasional work at nights and on weekends.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in agriculture, natural resources, STEM field, communication, marketing, education, student affairs, or closely related field plus two years experience in public relations, recruitment, student services, sales, marketing, agriculture, natural resources, science, or related field experience required.
Experience must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
The ability to engage small and large audiences and work in diverse teams.
Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software necessary.
Must have a valid driver's license and meet University driver eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills desirable.
Experience with brand management using social media.
