As a Barclays Market Risk Basel IV, Manager, you will join our Risk Regulatory Oversight and Coordination team and ensure that we comply with existing and upcoming prudential regulatory requirements. Becoming a central point of expertise you will provide advice, oversight, and governance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with broad range of subject matter experts and risk stakeholders in Barclays International (including Europe, US, and Asia) in relation to upcoming Basel IV requirements.

What will you be doing? ??? Helping with the regulatory self-assessment process and ensuring that the assessment of compliance is fully documented, and governance requirements are adhered to ??? Keeping appraised of new and emerging regulatory requirements and upholding communication and implementation ??? Working closely with team leads and internal stakeholders to facilitate interpretation and implementation of new regulations and responses to consultation papers ??? Coordinating and tracking both regular and ad-hoc regulatory deliverables, including those related to our model permissions ??? Supporting Risk-led meetings with regulators through preparation of helping with meeting materials, and ensuring notes and actions are recorded and tracked ??? Assisting with maintenance of the central Permissions Library, ensuring that communications and correspondence from regulators are updated ??? Tracking the management of regulatory issues relating to Market Risk including those identified by regulators and self-identified issues ??? Developing Subject Matter Expertise to provide guidance on matters related to market risk aspects of Basel IV and our Market Risk permissions under FRTB
What we're looking for: ??? Awareness of prudential regulations related to Market Risk, i.e. solid grasp of Basel IV FRTB requirements and IMA model permissions ??? Comprehension of Market Risk and experience in related fields such as market risk management, market risk models, and market risk reporting ??? Developed numerical skills and ability to clearly write and articulate complex subject matter ??? Excellent software skills including proficiency in the use of MS applications and SharePoint
