This position is responsible for all operations at the Palouse Research, Extension and Education Center (PREEC) Beef Unit. The individual is ultimately responsible for all animal care at the beef unit. This position is also responsible for supervising, training, evaluating and setting schedules for board appointed and temporary employees at the beef unit. The individual ensures current SOP protocols are updated and adhered to for all operation tasks and manages the Beef Unit budget and expenditures, ensuring expenditures are appropriate and accurate. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining a year end balanced budget for the beef unit. This individual will occasionally be asked to provide management relief at the UI Dairy, Feed and Sheep Units and assist with other PREEC activitie
