This position is primarily responsible for the feeding and care of dairy calves located at the West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris, MN. The schedule will be set through consultation with the other calf feeders. The employee holding this position should be compassionate towards animals, willing to learn how to care for dairy calves, and willing to learn how to properly record data in a research setting. If interested, we will train you on taking blood samples from calves, and you can assist with tagging, vaccinating, weighing, downloading calf sensor data, dehorning calves, and other research projects.
