Quality Assurance Manager position in Brooklyn, NY. Duties incl: Audit & approve new production lines by completing new line assessments in conjunction w/ food safety regulatory & quality compliance reqmts. Review domestic & int'l label & ingredient compliance in accordance w/ the Food & Drug Administration & relevant regulatory bodies. Dvlp & improve SOPs & spec sheets for all products w/ all 3PMs & 3PLs to ensure that food safety, regulatory & quality assurance protocols are followed. Identify & manage continuous food safety & quality improvement plans for all partners/SKU while maintaining or reducing the cost of mfg. Manage compliance of 3rd-party certification - USDA Organic, Paleo, Keto, Kosher, Non-GMO Project Verified, & Fairtrade. Vet potential new vendors & ingredients for foo
