LAB AST 2 (Lab Assistant)Job Summary Under direct supervision of the Lab Manager, Collect manure samples from dairy lagoons, and liquid-solid separator in dairy farm, and subsequent bench work for manure's solid and ion determination. Research is focused on understanding manure characteristics (volatile solids, moisture, total solids, and microbial population) for developing improved manure management methods such as anaerobic digestion, manure drying, and composting.
