The Retail Production Team Lead is a valuable member of the Dining Service Retail team and the success of the retail departments.
As a Retail Production Team Lead you will:
Oversee and lead the production center operations
Participate in volume forecasting and supply ordering
Food preparation for Herbie Markets, Tazza Coffee, and other retail locations
Lead, train, and provide feedback to production center staff
Manage quality control, costs, and food safety

Minimum Required Qualifications:
High school or equivalent experience. Three years of food preparation experience and mastery of all kitchen and dining tasks and attributes; equivalent experience/education considered. Ability to read, write, weigh, and measure necessary. The ability to communicate is essential. Must have the ability to train and lead others. Food Handler's permit or ability to obtain by passing the Safety and Sanitation test required. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalent experience relevant food/dietetic/hospitality or business field. Management experience in a non-commercial dining service operation desirable. Food Handlers permit or ability to obtain by passing Safety and Sanitation test.
