We are looking for 2 part-time dairy trainers (up to 14 hours/week) to help educate dairy workers about health and safety on farms. Ideally, we are looking for one individual who will work in Wisconsin and another to work in Minnesota.  Worker trainings would be done in Spanish. Remote work is permitted with periodic meetings with our UMASH team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
      ⢠Organizing and facilitating worker training (70%)
      ⢠Supporting monitoring and evaluation related activities (15%)
      ⢠Participate in team meetings to provide identify and update training content (15%)
      ⢠Demonstrates personal initiative in all activities
     ⢠Works closely with the Project Coordinator and the UMASH team

Required:

• Experience. Knowledge of agricultural health and safety. Teaching or training experience
• Communication. Able to communicate effectively with diverse groups of individuals including migrant workers, dairy producers partner organizations, and educational institutions in English and Spanish.
• Language: English and Spanish, required
• Computer skills.  Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite, familiarity with project management and virtual meeting software and Adobe Suite.
• Highly organized with an ability to carry out program logistics
• Flexible schedule with hours and days
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals, colleagues, and community members from diverse communities and cultures

Preferred:

• Working with dairy cows or farm experience
